Detailed description
Detailed description
The Fusion Signature SG-DA41400 marine amplifier is a Class-D 4-channel model designed for marine environments. It delivers a peak power of 1400 watts, with RMS capabilities of 150 watts x 4 channels at 4 ohms or 220 watts x 4 channels at 2 ohms. In bridged mode, it reaches 440 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms, with a THD+N of 1% at 14.4V. Its frequency response spans from 10Hz to 65kHz, ensuring detailed audio reproduction.
True-Marine™ design and protection
This amplifier is built to True-Marine™ standards, ensuring resistance to salt corrosion, temperature variations, vibrations, and UV exposure. The printed circuit boards (PCB) feature conformal coating for enhanced protection against moisture. A die-cast aluminum heat sink with optimized fin design ensures efficient heat dissipation and stable performance. The polished stainless steel control panel conceals and protects connections and adjustments.
Audio integration and settings
The SG-DA41400 includes line-level RCA inputs for easy connection to existing or new marine audio systems. It features a subsonic filter, adjustable bass level, and adjustable crossover filters (low-pass or high-pass) from 32Hz to 320Hz, allowing precise customization of sound quality and speaker protection. Its stable design under 2 ohms and bridging options provide flexibility to power up to four pairs of speakers or two pairs of speakers and a subwoofer. A 5-way circuit protection system (thermal, reverse polarity, DC offset, high and low voltage) is integrated for system reliability. The unit operates on 10.8-16 VDC and is protected by two 40-amp J1171-compliant fuses.
