Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for 24V marine audio systems, the Fusion SG-24DA61500 amplifier from the Signature range is a high-performance multichannel sound solution. It delivers a peak power of 1500W and an RMS power of 100W x 6 channels at 4 Ohms (at 28.8 Vdc) or 140W x 6 channels at 2 Ohms (at 28.8 Vdc). In bridged mode, it reaches 280W x 3 at 4 Ohms, offering flexibility to power a variety of speakers and subwoofers.
Marine design and efficiency
The Class D design of this amplifier ensures energy efficiency, reducing current consumption (less than 1.25 A at idle, 35 A max) and heat dissipation. Featuring conformal-coated printed circuits, a rigid heat sink made of die-cast aluminum alloy, and a stainless steel finish, the SG-24DA61500 is built to Fusion’s True-Marine standards. These features ensure resistance to marine environments, including exposure to salt spray, temperature variations, vibrations, and UV, though it requires installation in a dry location.
Flexibility and integration
With an extended frequency response from 10 Hz to 40 kHz, the amplifier integrates adjustable high-pass, low-pass, and full-band filters (from 32 Hz to 320 Hz with a 12 dB/octave slope). It also offers adjustable bass boost (0 to 9 dB) specifically for zone 3, enabling precise sound customization. Its operating voltage of 21.6 to 32 Vdc is specifically designed for ships equipped with 24V electrical systems, setting it apart from the more common 12V amplifiers. This specificity makes it the preferred choice for demanding audio installations on larger boats, where stability and power are paramount.
