Designed for demanding marine audio systems, the Fusion Signature Series 8-channel 2000W marine amplifier (model SG-DA82000) provides a high-power audio solution for complex installations. This Class D amplifier delivers 2000 W of peak power, with a nominal RMS power of 100 W per channel at 4 Ohm or 140 W per channel at 2 Ohm across its eight channels. It can also be bridge-mode configured to deliver 280 W RMS on four channels at 4 Ohm, offering flexibility to power a variety of speakers and subwoofers.
True-Marine™ design and robustness
The Fusion Signature Series amplifier features True-Marine™ design, ensuring protection against harsh marine environments. Its printed circuits are coated with a conformal coating for enhanced resistance to elements. The die-cast aluminum chassis acts as a heat sink, with optimized fin layout to maximize surface area and improve thermal dissipation, contributing to system reliability. Audio performance and system integration
With a frequency response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz (-3 dB at 4 Ohm), this amplifier can reproduce an extended sound spectrum. It integrates adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters from 32 Hz to 320 Hz with a 12 dB/octave slope, as well as adjustable Bass Boost from 0 to 9 dB for zones 2 and 4. These options allow precise customization of audio output for different types of speakers and subwoofers. The required power supply is 10.8 to 16 Vdc, with a maximum current draw of 100 A.
