It integrates Garmin and Navionics® data for clear and precise detail. This digital chart is supplied on a microSD™/SD™ card for easy compatibility with Garmin devices.
Detailed Geographic Coverage
This chart includes the entire Adriatic Sea, extending south to Syracuse in Sicily and the Gulf of Arcadia in Greece. It also provides detailed coverage of Italian lakes such as Lake Maggiore, Lake Iseo, and Lake Garda, as well as the Po River. The chart covers the Adriatic coasts of Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, the west coast of Greece, eastern Sicily, the Strait of Messina, and the Dalmatian coast. Installation requires 1.21 GB of space on a microSD™/SD™ card, with up to an additional 500 MB potentially needed for software updates.
Advanced Navigation Features
The Garmin BlueChart® g3 HXEU014R includes Auto Guidance technology, which calculates a suggested route based on desired depth and overhead clearance. The depth shading mode displays up to 10 high-resolution depth ranges, facilitating quick visualization of target depths. One-foot (approximately 30 cm) bathymetric contours provide a detailed representation of the seabed structure, optimizing navigation and fishing. Shallow-water shading allows setting a depth to visually highlight areas to avoid. NOAA raster chart downloads are available free via the ActiveCaptain® app, offering paper-style chart views of surveyed areas with labeled points of interest and corresponding longitude/latitude coordinates. Finally, various points of interest such as marinas, boat ramps, campsites, major roads, and potential hazards are displayed on the chart.
