They integrate Garmin and Navionics data for comprehensive nautical information, covering areas such as the Po River, Lake Maggiore, Lake Iseo, Lake Como, and Lake Garda.
Advanced navigation features
A one-year subscription is included with these charts, providing access to daily updates via the ActiveCaptain® app. This ensures the availability of the most recent data for accurate navigation. The Auto Guidance+ technology calculates a suggested route from one dock to another, taking into account the desired depth and vertical clearance while alerting to nearby obstacles for optimized route planning.
Bathymetric detail and visibility
These charts offer depth shading with up to 10 color options to easily visualize target depths. Bathymetric contours down to 0.3 meters (1 foot) provide an accurate representation of the seabed structure, enhancing detail for fishing and navigation in complex areas such as marshes, canals, ports, and marinas. The shallow-water shading also allows setting a specific depth to clearly identify and avoid low-draft zones.
Premium options (Garmin Navionics Vision+)
Premium versions of Garmin mapping may include additional features. High-resolution relief shading combines colors and shadows for a clear view of the seabed structure, aiding in the identification of underwater features such as artificial reefs. Downloadable high-resolution satellite imagery provides superior situational awareness, complemented by aerial photography of ports, marinas, bridges, and navigation landmarks. FishEye and MarinerEye 3D views are also available, offering detailed underwater and aerial perspectives. Finally, downloadable sonar imagery can reveal seabed hardness, and the dynamic lake level feature adjusts charts to current water levels for increased accuracy.
