Designed for navigation along the Norwegian coast, Garmin marine charts cover the area from Trondheim to Tromsø. This detailed coverage includes locations such as Sandnessjøen, Bodø, Værøy, Langøya, Narvik, and Vestfjorden. They also extend to several Swedish lakes, including Tjeggelvas, Hornavan, Uddjaur, Aisjaur, Fluka, Storavan, Revsundssjön, and Storsjön.
Integrated content and updates
These charts integrate Garmin and Navionics® content, providing precise coverage, clarity, and detail. A one-year subscription is included, granting access to daily updates via the ActiveCaptain® app. Thousands of updates are made daily to keep the content current.
Advanced navigation features
The Auto Guidance+™ technology calculates a suggested route from dock to dock based on desired depth and clearance. This feature simplifies navigation through channels, fjords, and marina entrances. For fishing zone identification, depth shading allows selection of up to 10 color options to highlight target depths. Contours down to 30 cm (1') provide a detailed representation of the seabed structure. User-customizable shallow-water shading helps visualize areas to avoid.
Visualization and customization
The charts feature high-resolution relief shading, combining colors and shadows for a clearer seabed view than contour lines alone. This feature can be downloaded via the ActiveCaptain app or is available with Garmin Navionics Vision+. Downloadable high-resolution satellite imagery enhances situational awareness, while aerial photos provide clear views of harbors, marinas, bridges, and landmarks. 3D views, FishEye View, and MarinerEye View offer additional perspectives above and below the water’s surface. A dynamic lake level adjustment function adapts charts to the current water level. Users can customize their display with different layers and chart combinations. These charts are compatible with Garmin chartplotters.
