Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed to provide remote control of your Garmin Reactor™ autopilot system, the Garmin Reactor™ remote control (010-12833-10) simplifies navigation and maneuvering on board. It allows helmsmen to maintain control of heading and autopilot functions from any point on the boat, up to a range of 14 meters from the main helm.
Intuitive control and readable display
The Reactor™ remote control features a 30.2 mm transflective MIP (memory-in-pixel) display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels, ensuring optimal readability even in full sunlight. Its ergonomic and robust design, made of glass-filled nylon, ensures durability compliant with marine requirements. Power is provided by two AA batteries (not included), offering a typical autonomy of 240 hours, and its IPX7 waterproof rating allows it to withstand accidental immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Advanced navigation features
This remote control offers advanced piloting functions, including gesture control that allows you to engage or adjust the heading by simply pointing the remote in the desired direction. It also has programmable buttons for quick access to specific actions such as tacking, jibing, MOB (man overboard) function, or navigation to a waypoint. Compatibility is ensured with GHC 20 and GHC 50 helm stations and a wide range of Garmin GPSMAP chartplotters, including the 7x2/9x2/12x2 Touch, 10x2/12x2, 74/7600, and 84/8600 models, as well as newer versions. Compared to fixed interfaces on GHC helm stations or multifunction displays, this remote control offers increased freedom of movement and direct interaction with the autopilot, freeing the helmsman from the helm for other tasks on board.
