Designed for demanding marine environments, the JL Audio XDM800/8-24V amplifier is a complete 8-channel audio solution. It is specifically optimized for 24-volt electrical systems, delivering stable output power and high-quality sound reproduction. This amplifier integrates JL Audio’s high-speed switching NexD™ Class D technology, ensuring full-bandwidth operation with minimal distortion and high energy efficiency.
Audio performance and power
The JL Audio XDM800/8-24V delivers 75 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms or 100 watts RMS per channel at 2 ohms, with a THD+N of 1% at 28.8V. In bridged mode, it can provide 200 watts RMS across 4 channels at 4 ohms. Its frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 104 dB at rated power (A-weighted) and 84 dB at 1 watt (A-weighted), ensuring clear audio. Variable high-pass and low-pass filters (50–500 Hz, 12 dB/octave) per channel pair allow precise acoustic tuning.
Marine-grade design and flexible integration
This amplifier is built with marine-grade materials, including a black powder-coated finish, a sealed control cover, and stainless-steel hardware, ensuring durability and resistance to marine conditions. Differential-balanced inputs help eliminate noise, while the dual-mode input filter ensures interference-free performance. The JL Audio XDM800/8-24V offers selectable input modes (2, 4, or 8 channels) to adapt to various system configurations. It features automatic turn-on via DC offset or signal detection. High-level speaker inputs up to 4Vrms are accepted, requiring Wire-to-RCA adapters. A wired remote level control (HD-RLC or MHD-RLC) is compatible for adjustments from the helm. Its dimensions are 36.83 cm (W) × 5.08 cm (H) × 18.10 cm (D). A 40-amp fuse is recommended, with 4 AWG power and ground cables.
