The JL Audio M6-770X-L-GwSw-Single flush-mount marine speaker is designed to deliver high-performance audio in marine environments. This 7.7-inch 2-way coaxial model features a woofer optimized by JL Audio’s Dynamic Motor Analysis (DMA) technology for reduced distortion and improved bass extension. The 1-inch silk dome tweeter, equipped with neodymium magnets, ensures precise high-frequency response.
Design and acoustic performance
With an RMS power rating of 100 watts and a peak power rating of 200 watts, the M6-770X-L-GwSw-Single is recommended for amplification between 40 and 200 watts per channel. Its 4-ohm impedance and extended frequency response from 45 Hz to 25,000 Hz, with a sensitivity of 91 dB at 1W/1m, ensure clear and powerful sound reproduction. The woofer features an injection-molded polypropylene cone loaded with mica and a synthetic rubber surround. A discreet 2-way passive crossover network is integrated into the woofer frame, including a semiconductor-based automatic protection circuit for the tweeter.

This speaker is specifically engineered to withstand marine conditions. It is constructed with UV- and corrosion-resistant polymer baskets and grilles, exceeding industry standards for salt spray and UV exposure. The Luxe grille, featuring a subtle satin-white finish with a fine mesh, is designed for seamless integration in high-end installations, with a minimal front protrusion of 10 mm. Optimized for "infinite-baffle" applications (flush-mounted in open air), it requires no dedicated enclosure, simplifying installation and maximizing performance in open environments.
