Robust Marine Construction and Durability

These speakers feature marine-grade construction with UV- and corrosion-resistant polymer baskets and grilles. Mounting hardware is marine-grade stainless steel. Every JL Audio product undergoes rigorous testing, including UV and salt fog chambers, to ensure longevity in the harshest conditions. The speakers are manufactured at JL Audio’s Miramar, Florida facility using globally sourced components and materials. A 2-year warranty is included.

Optimal Audio Performance

The system delivers 75 watts RMS continuous power per speaker and 225 watts peak power. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms. The 6.5-inch woofers feature injection-molded polypropylene cones filled with mica and synthetic rubber surrounds. The 0.75-inch silk dome tweeters are selected for their light weight and smooth response, producing precise high-frequency detail. Woofers are optimized using JL Audio’s DMA (Dynamic Motor Analysis) technology to reduce distortion and improve transient performance and bass quality. Passive 2-way crossovers with a 1st-order low-pass and 2nd-order high-pass filter, along with electronic tweeter protection circuitry, are integrated into the woofer baskets.
