Designed for marine environments, the JL Audio M6-880ETXv3-Sb-S-GmTi-i marine tower speakers are 2-way coaxial systems with 8.8-inch drivers. They deliver 125 watts RMS continuous power per speaker, with recommended amplifier power handling of 50 to 250 watts per channel. Their nominal impedance is 4 ohms and they provide a frequency response of 38 Hz to 20 kHz (± 3 dB) with a system efficiency of 90.5 dB at 1 W / 1 m.
Design and materials
These speakers feature an 8.8-inch (224 mm) woofer with a cone and surround made from marine-grade UV-resistant materials. The tweeter is a specially treated dome for UV and salt fog resistance. A passive crossover network is integrated. The enclosure is made of UV-treated polymer with a titanium sport grille.
Advanced features
The M6-880ETXv3-Sb-S-GmTi-i units include RGB LED lighting, providing uniform illumination. Seven fixed lighting colors are available, with the ability to control color and intensity via an optional RGB controller (sold separately). The marine-grade construction ensures resistance to UV and corrosion. The 8.8-inch coaxial design delivers good efficiency and bass output. The woofer is optimized for frequency response and smooth midrange dispersion. The tweeter is tuned via a rear cavity for optimized midrange extension, ensuring a seamless transition with the woofer. A decorative aluminum cap is included. The speaker wiring is designed for discreet integration with mounting hardware (sold separately).
