The MANTAGUA 24VDC COB LED strip is a 1-meter-long marine lighting solution designed for demanding environments. Using COB (Chip On Board) technology, this strip provides uniform and homogeneous lighting, eliminating the visible light points of individual LEDs found in earlier generations of LED strips based on 3528 or 5050 chips. With a luminous flux of 1000 lumens per meter and a warm white color temperature (3100 K), it delivers a warm ambiance while ensuring effective illumination.

Design and technical performance

This MANTAGUA model features an IP68 waterproof design, making it suitable for full immersion and ideal for outdoor use or humid areas on board. Powered by 24VDC, it is particularly well-suited to the electrical systems of larger vessels, offering better stability and allowing for longer cable lengths without significant voltage drop. The strip integrates 384 LEDs per meter for high light density and consumes 10 W per meter. Its compact dimensions of 8 x 1000 x 5 mm facilitate discreet integration. It comes with 10 cm of pre-mounted electrical wires at each end for simplified connection and can be cut every 5 cm to precisely fit installation needs, offering greater flexibility than older strips that could only be cut every 10 cm. Its lifespan is estimated at 50,000 hours with appropriate DC-DC regulation.

Positioning within the MANTAGUA range

The MANTAGUA 24VDC COB LED strip represents a significant evolution compared to traditional MANTAGUA LED strips, such as the 3528 or 5050 LED models. While the 3100 K IP68 3528 LED strips provided 190 lm/m with 60 LEDs/m, and the IP68 5050 strips reached 500 lm/m with 60 LEDs/m, this COB strip significantly increases LED density and luminous flux while eliminating the visible point effect. Its COB technology brings it closer to flexible neon strips in terms of light aesthetics but stands out with its high efficiency (1000 lm/m for 10 W/m) and 24VDC voltage, optimizing its integration into modern marine installations. It is important to note that the strip is non-adhesive and requires mounting using other means, and polarity must be respected during installation.
