The Raymarine M95435 is an outdoor warning horn speaker for loudhailer, foghorn, and sound signal use on a compatible VHF radio. It is a passive hailer horn type speaker to be connected to the loudspeaker/loudhailer output on the radio or VHF unit.
Onboard use
This model is used to broadcast deck announcements and fog signals from a compatible VHF installation. It does not replace a full VHF radio and is not a wireless station for Ray90/91 sets: the external horn converts the radio’s loudhailer/foghorn function into an audible signal outdoors.
Compatibility
Raymarine documentation and distributors list the M95435 as a hailer horn for loudhailer/fog signals. Before ordering, verify that the installed VHF has a dedicated hailer output and that the power/impedance rating is compatible with the speaker.
Installation
Mounting is done outdoors on a bracket oriented toward the area to be covered. Wiring must be moisture-protected and connected according to the VHF manual. For refits, Skysat recommends validating the radio model, cable routing, and mounting location before replacing an existing horn.
