About Us — Skysat, Marine Electronics in Carnac

Skysat (company name: Sky Satellites System) is a French marine electronics company based in Carnac, Brittany — not to be confused with the observation satellite constellation of the same name. Three services under one roof: an installation workshop, a design office, and an online store conceived as a technical encyclopedia. Since 2002, over 200 boats equipped.
What we do
Install. Autopilots, navigation systems, lithium battery banks, satellite communication: our workshop in Carnac equips long-distance cruising sailboats and racing boats, directly or through our network of approved installers across France.
Design. The design office dimensions installations before opening any box: energy balance, NMEA 2000 architecture, brand compatibilities. This is the invisible part that makes an installation reliable at sea.
Document. Our online catalog is not a mere shop: each product page is developed as a technical documentation page — verified specs, signed workshop reviews, comparators and guides written by people who actually install the equipment.
What we don't do
We do not sell a product that is unsuitable for your program, even if it is in stock. We do not promise “plug-and-play” when the reality of a vessel requires proper sizing. And when a technology is oversold by marketing, our guides state it — that's our house rule: technical honesty before commercial argument.
Brands we work with
B&G, Raymarine, Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, Furuno, Victron Energy, Airmar, Iridium, Starlink, Pixel sur Mer, Madintec — in both distribution and installation. We distribute several competing brands, which allows us to compare them freely: our comparators deliver clear verdicts.
