The first multihull fully developed by VPLP

The trimaran KOESIO, launched in 2020 under the name Planet Warriors, then Ciela Village, was renamed KOESIO in 2021 when Erwan Le Roux took possession of it for the Transat Jacques Vabre. This boat is notable as it represents the first multihull structure fully developed by VPLP Design using new structural software tools.

This innovative approach allowed achieving the lightest boat in the Ocean Fifty fleet at just 3,200 kg. The design features K-shaped beams and an extended stern beam, enabling a longer and better-protected cockpit.

2024 steering innovation

In 2024, KOESIO became the first Ocean Fifty fitted with an electronic wheel steering system linked to an autopilot, developed by MerConcept in collaboration with Mobius France and Madintec.
