Important notice
This policy applies to orders shipped to the United States. For orders shipped to France or other European Union countries, please refer to our general refund policy.
All sales final — with one exception
Due to international shipping logistics from our French warehouse, all sales to the United States are final, except for defective products. We cannot accept returns for:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Sizing or fit issues
- Compatibility issues that could have been verified before purchase
- Damage caused by buyer or installation error
Defective products
If you receive a defective product (manufacturer defect or damage during shipping):
- Contact us at support@skysat.fr within 14 days of delivery
- Include your order number, photos of the defect, and a brief description
- We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) with shipping instructions
- We cover return shipping for confirmed defective products
Duties, taxes and customs fees
Orders shipped to the United States are sent DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). The carrier (DHL Express Worldwide) may collect duties, import taxes, and customs fees upon delivery. These charges are determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) based on the product category and declared value, and are not refundable by Skysat under any circumstance.
Restricted products
Certain marine radios (VHF, AIS, EPIRB, PLB, AIS-SART) are not available for sale to U.S. customers due to FCC type-acceptance and NOAA / U.S. Coast Guard regulations. These products are automatically filtered from the U.S. catalog and cannot be ordered for delivery to U.S. addresses.
Shipping times
Standard delivery to the United States: 7–10 business days via DHL Express Worldwide from our warehouse in Carnac, France. Tracking number provided once the package is dispatched.
