Detailed description
Detailed description
The Raymarine i50 & i60 pack is a complete and proven instrumentation solution for sailboats, providing all essential navigation data: wind, speed, and depth. Designed for maximum readability and unwavering reliability, this set is ideal for a new installation or upgrading an existing system.
Dedicated displays for instant reading
This pack combines the i50 series displays for log-speedometer and sounder data (speed and depth) with the i60 display dedicated to wind information. The i60 features an analog dial and a digital screen for quick and intuitive reading of wind angle and speed. The i50 displays, on the other hand, feature oversized digits and red backlighting for perfect visibility day or night. All screens are treated with an anti-fog coating and benefit from IPX6 waterproofing, ensuring their durability in the cockpit.
Integration and SeaTalkng network
All instruments and sensors connect via Raymarine's SeaTalkng network, a system based on the NMEA2000 protocol that greatly simplifies installation. The bus architecture allows devices to be connected in series (daisy-chain), reducing wiring and ensuring smooth and reliable data sharing between all compatible equipment on board. The system operates on a standard 12VDC power supply.
Positioning within the Raymarine range
The i50/i60 pack represents a proven generation of instruments, succeeding the older ST40/ST60 series. Although Raymarine now offers more integrated solutions like the i70s multifunction displays or direct integration with Axiom chartplotters, this pack remains a very relevant option. Unlike a single multifunction screen, it offers the advantage of redundancy and simultaneous display of all critical data without manipulation. It positions itself as a direct competitor to instrument packs from Garmin (GMI/GNX series) and B&G (Triton² series), distinguishing itself through its ease of use and recognized robustness.
