Mali / srednji sustav — jednostavnost
Na manjem ili srednjem brodu, ili prilikom jednostavne obnove, baterija s integriranim BMS-om je bolja opcija: gotov proizvod s BMS-om i zaštitama već ugrađenim, jamstvo na cijeli sustav. Kod Skysata, Mastervolt MLi Ultra 12/3000 (2 054 € bez PDV-a) nativno se integrira u ekosustav CZone / MasterBus (jahti Bénéteau, Jeanneau, Bavaria); MG Energy HE Series 24V 304Ah (2 990 € bez PDV-a) namijenjena je zahtjevnijim programima (cikličnost 8 000 ciklusa, otvoreni CAN). Iako skuplja po kWh-u, ne zahtijeva dodatna istraživanja i montažu.

Čim želite sami dimenzionirati baterijski park, prilagoditi ga ili ciljati najbolji odnos €/kWh za velike volumene, prelazite na BMS namijenjen za Victron. Naš standard u radionici ostaje Lynx Smart BMS 500 (968 € bez PDV-a): centralizirani shunt, VE.Can + N2K, izravna integracija s MultiPlusom / MPPT-om. Potrebna je analiza (ćelije, osigurači klase T, Lynx distribucija), ali arhitektura je modularna i izdržljiva.

Za male obalne sustave izgrađene oko odabranih baterijskih ćelija, Victron Smart BMS CL 12/100 (161 € bez PDV-a) najbolja je jeftina opcija BMS uređaja: upravlja i štiti do 100 A, komunikacija putem VE.Direct, usklađen s referentnim standardima. Na ovom nivou proračuna, BMS uređaj posvećen bateriji ostaje najisplativije rješenje — integrirana baterija ima smisla samo iznad toga, za rješenja plug-and-play.

Without a Load Dump absorber, the BMS triggers during charging → overvoltage → alternator diodes burned out.
Ne izravno: BMS Victron upravlja baterijskim paketom koji ste dodali; MLi Ultra / MG HE je potpuna baterija s integriranim BMS-om. Odluka o izboru temelji se na arhitekturi, a ne na jediničnoj cijeni (usporedba BMS-a od ~150-1000 € s baterijom od ~2000-3000 € nema smisla — jedan upravlja, drugi pohranjuje energiju).
External (Victron Lynx Smart) if you need a centralized shunt, independent charge/discharge disconnection, and ABYC E-13 compliance. Internal (Mastervolt MLi, MG Energy) for simplified plug-and-play integration and a single product pack + BMS. Neither is inherently superior — the choice depends on the target electrical architecture.
Technically yes, but not recommended in practice. The BMS communicates with its own chargers via its native bus. Without a common bus, you lose intelligent control (current modulation, preventive alarms, balancing). If mixing is necessary, plan for an NMEA 2000 gateway and accept a loss of precision.
Yes for all marine LFP packs. Without a BMS, you violate IEC 62619 (cell), ISO 16315 (electric propulsion), and ISO 10133 (low-voltage circuits) standards. In case of a claim, the insurer has grounds for exclusion. The BMS is not a comfort accessory; it is the mandatory safety device.
At 80% DoD in offshore cruising (200-300 cycles/year): 12-15 years for Mastervolt (4,000 cycles), 15-18 years for Victron (5,000 cycles), 20-25 years for MG Energy (8,000 cycles). Under correct thermal profile conditions (< 35 °C per cell) and BMS programming compliant with manufacturer specifications.
Victron: 24–48 h via importer network (Eldotech, Bavaria Distrib). Mastervolt: 48–72 h via Mastervolt France importer. MG Energy: 3–5 days via importer or direct order from Netherlands. Critical in offshore racing where downtime costs more than the part.
