Hakes Marine is a New Zealand shipyard based in Wellington, founded by Paul Hakes and known for building IMOCA and ocean-racing monohulls. Notably, the builder of the IMOCA Ecover 3 (2007, Owen Clarke Design + Clay Oliver) for Mike Golding — later renamed Nexans-WeWise, then FDJ United-WeWise under Fabrice Amedeo.
