Basile Bourgnon, 23, is co-skipper of the Ocean Fifty Edenred 5 with Emmanuel Le Roch. He was the youngest competitor in the 2025 Transat Café L'Or in an Ocean Fifty. After a first victory in the 24-hour Ultim race (September 2025), the duo led the Transat Café L'Or for seven days before a linkage bar failure; they finished fifth in 12 days, 10 hours and 6 minutes. A graduate of the Figaro circuit, he has high ambitions for the Route du Rhum and upcoming offshore multihull races.
