Alternative Sailing - Constructions du Belon is de Class40Mach 40.5 #FRA 196, rompnaam Machouquette, gelanceerd op 10 juli 2023. Ontwerp Sam Manuard, bouw JPS Production (La Trinité-sur-Mer). Het schip wordt mede-geëxploiteerd door Alternative Sailing (verhuur van zeilboten, La Trinité-sur-Mer) en Constructions du Belon (Bretons bouwer, titelsponsor).
Mach 40.5-platform
Vijfde iteratie van de Mach 40-serie ontworpen door Manuard voor JPS. De 40.5 is een romp met scow-boeg, geoptimaliseerd voor vermogen bij halve wind en richtingsstabiliteit in solovaren en tweemansbemanning.
