The B&G H60 Handset for VHF V60 W/L, DSC is a wireless remote station designed exclusively for the V60 VHF radio. It offers complete mobility onboard by replicating all the functionalities of the main station, allowing communication and monitoring of safety data from the cockpit, flybridge, or anywhere on deck.

Full Control and Onboard Mobility

With a wireless range of 100 meters from the V60 base, the H60 handset ensures reliable communication throughout the vessel. It allows you to make calls, browse channels, and activate Selective Calling (DSC) functions. An intercom function is integrated for communication with the base station or a second handset. The V60 VHF station can support up to two H60 handsets simultaneously.

Robust Design for the Marine Environment

Built to withstand marine conditions, the H60 is IPX7 waterproof certified, capable of withstanding immersion at 1 meter depth for 30 minutes. Charging is done wirelessly via the included dock, eliminating physical connectors and maximizing water resistance. The integrated battery provides up to 8 hours of operating time. Its dimensions are 180 x 65 x 38 mm with a weight of 260 g.

Safety and Navigation Features

Once paired with the V60 VHF, the H60 handset becomes a comprehensive safety tool. It displays AIS targets transmitted by the base station and uses its integrated GPS receiver for positioning data. The system includes the Track Buddy function to track the position of up to five friendly boats and features a dedicated MOB (Man Overboard) function to trigger an alert in case of emergency.
