The world of offshore racing demands absolute precision and unwavering reliability. Skysat has been supporting the giants of the sea since their early days. Our work on Sodebo Ultim 1 (launched in 2007, a transformation of the legendary Geronimo from Kersauson) marked the beginning of a technological era where electronics became the true nervous system of giant multihulls.

A Pioneer of the Giant Era (2007-2014)

At that time, the challenge was immense: to stabilize navigation systems on a 31-meter trimaran capable of exceeding 40 knots. Led by skipper Thomas Coville, Sodebo Ultim 1 was an innovation laboratory for Skysat, allowing us to push the limits of component resistance in hostile environments.

20 Years of Excellence: A Collaboration Continuing in 2026

The story didn't end with the first Ultim's records. In 2026, Skysat is proud to continue this historic collaboration with Team Sodebo, thanks to the Mobius actuator. For nearly two decades, we have evolved alongside the team to equip Thomas Coville's successive boats. This continuity demonstrates our ability to innovate year after year, from the era of early navigation instruments to today's systems integrating artificial intelligence and high-precision autopilot.
