Founded in 1981 in Carquefou by naval architect Gilles Ollier to build the first Jet Services, Multiplast relocated to Vannes (Golfe park) in October 1984. The yard specializes in designing and building carbon/epoxy composite honeycomb structures for offshore multihulls and monohulls.
Current governance
The CEO is Yann Penfornis. Multiplast is part of the Carboman Group (with Plastinov and Plasteol), acquired in June 2022 by the HBH Group (Damien Harlé, Jean-Denis Bargibant) — Yann Penfornis is a partner in this new structure. The yard now diversifies its activity beyond yachting into aeronautics, space, defense, and civil engineering.
