Multiplast

Pioneers of high-tech composite construction

Based in Vannes, at the heart of the "Sailing Valley", the Multiplast shipyard is an undisputed global reference. Since 1981, the company has established itself as the leader in composite material construction (carbon/epoxy/honeycomb), producing the fastest racing yachts on the planet.

Carbon craftsmanship

At Multiplast, boatbuilding meets aeronautics. Their teams have mastered the art of "cuir" (the layup of carbon fabrics) and high-temperature oven curing. This is where giants like Orange, Groupama, Geronimo (later renamed Mieux) and a large portion of the current Vendée Globe fleet were born. Their signature? Hulls of absolute rigidity and extreme lightness, capable of withstanding the assaults of the Southern Ocean.

Beyond racing: industrial excellence

While racing is in their DNA, Multiplast applies this technological rigor to very high-performance cruising (such as the prototype Ourson Rapide) and industry (parts for Airbus, radar radomes). Every project leaving their hangars is a unique prototype, where approximation has no place.

Working on a unit built by Multiplast is a privilege that demands specific expertise.

It is on these challenges that technical partnership takes on its full meaning: an exceptional hull deserves an exceptional nervous system.
