Returns and Refund Policy — United Kingdom

Important notice

This policy applies to orders shipped to the United Kingdom. For orders shipped to France or other European Union countries, please refer to our general refund policy. For orders shipped to the United States, see the U.S. policy.

Statutory cancellation right (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

UK consumers have a statutory 14-day cancellation right starting from the day after delivery, for any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at support@skysat.fr with your order number before the 14 days expire. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) with shipping instructions. The buyer covers the cost of return shipping unless the product is defective.

This statutory right does NOT apply to: custom-configured items, software/firmware unsealed after delivery, or goods that by their nature cannot be returned (e.g. cut-to-length cables).

Defective products

If you receive a defective product (manufacturer defect or damage during shipping):

• Contact us at support@skysat.fr within 14 days of delivery
• Include your order number, photos of the defect, and a brief description
• We will issue an RMA with shipping instructions
• We cover return shipping for confirmed defective products

Duties, taxes and customs fees

Orders shipped to the United Kingdom are sent DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). The carrier (DHL Express Worldwide) may collect import VAT, duties, and customs handling fees on behalf of HMRC and UK Border Force upon delivery. These charges are determined by HMRC based on the product category, declared value, and country of origin, and are not refundable by Skysat under any circumstance.

For orders below £135 (excluding shipping), UK import VAT may apply at 20%. For orders above £135, additional customs duties may also apply depending on product classification.

Restricted products

Certain marine radios (VHF, AIS, EPIRB, PLB, AIS-SART) require Ofcom type approval and / or UKCA marking to be legally sold and operated in the United Kingdom. Products without UK compliance are filtered from the UK catalog and cannot be ordered for delivery to UK addresses. For specific compliance questions, contact us before ordering.

Shipping times

Standard delivery to the United Kingdom: 3–5 business days via DHL Express Worldwide from our warehouse in Carnac, France. Tracking number provided once the package is dispatched.
