P66DT — P66DT: Depth & Temperature Transducer 600W, Plastic Transom Mount, 50/200kHz

Designed for underwater detection, the AIRMAR P66DT is a 600W transom-mount transducer providing accurate depth and temperature readings. Ideal for small to mid-sized boats, it features dual 50/200 kHz frequencies for versatile performance in fresh and salt water.

Performance and hydrodynamic design

The AIRMAR P66DT transducer incorporates a dual-frequency ceramic element optimized for precise beams. At 50 kHz, it delivers a 45° beam width with a detection range up to 366 m. At 200 kHz, its 12° beam provides detailed detection up to 213 m. The shock- and chemical-resistant plastic housing features a hydrodynamic design with a rounded nose, minimizing turbulence for clear imagery and stable readings even at high speeds. A patented noise suppression system further enhances signal quality.

Installation and compatibility

The AIRMAR P66DT mounts on the transom and accommodates transom angles between 2° and 20°. It includes a plastic protective bracket that shields it from frontal impacts and allows it to pivot upward in case of collision. The sensor can be removed from the bracket without tools, simplifying maintenance or storage. It is compatible with a wide range of Furuno fishfinders and chartplotters, including models GP1871F, GP1971F, FCV628, FCV588, FCV600, FCV800, BBDS1, TZTL12F, TZTL15F, TZT2, TZT3, TZTXL, TZT2BB, TZT9F, TZT12F, TZT16F, TZT19F, and GP1X71F, via its 10-pin Furuno connector.
