Detailed description
Detailed description
The Ancor 100' 4/0 yellow tinned copper battery cable (reference 119910) is designed for demanding marine electrical installations. This single-conductor 4/0 AWG cable provides a solution for power distribution aboard vessels.
Marine construction and flexibility
Manufactured with a tinned copper stranding, this cable is designed to resist corrosion and electrolysis in saltwater environments. It features 2109 strands of 30 AWG, delivering ultra-flexibility (Type 3) to minimize fatigue from vibrations and repeated flexing. Its nominal outer diameter is 20.6 mm (13/16").
Insulation and compliance
The proprietary premium vinyl insulation maintains flexibility down to -40°C and resists salt, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and UV rays. The cable is rated for 600V AC/DC and 105°C dry / 75°C wet operation. It exceeds UL 1426, US Coast Guard Charter boat (CFR Title 46), and ABYC standards, ensuring compliance with marine safety requirements. Its circular mil area is 211,600 and its cross-section is 107.2 mm². Resistance is 0.049 ohms per 1,000 feet.
