The Fusion Apollo RA670 marine stereo source is a digital multimedia receiver designed for audio integration on vessels. It integrates audio innovations and extended connectivity options for an entertainment experience at sea.
Audio Performance and Display
Featuring an integrated Class-D amplifier, the Apollo RA670 delivers 26 watts RMS per channel (4 ohms) and a total peak power of 280 watts. Its 2.7-inch optically bonded LCD color screen ensures improved visibility and durability against spray, condensation, and fogging. Digital signal processing (DSP) technology optimizes sound quality for Fusion speakers, with precisely calculated loudness curves and a limiter to prevent distortion. DSP profiles can be configured via the Fusion-Link app.
Advanced Marine Connectivity
The RA670 offers wireless connectivity including Bluetooth (up to 9 meters range), ANT (up to 3 meters range), and Wi-Fi (via Ethernet connection to a wireless router, a Garmin MFD, or an Apollo Series stereo network). It is NMEA 2000 compatible for easy integration into the vessel’s existing network and features an Ethernet port for Wi-Fi connectivity and PartyBus™ networking. Inputs include a rear USB port, an AUX input (RCA), and an optical digital input (SPDIF) for TV audio and UPnP. Outputs include 3 audio zones (line outputs require separate amplification).
Features and Durability
This system supports various audio sources such as AM/FM radio, Bluetooth streaming, Apple AirPlay 2 (via Wi-Fi), SiriusXM-Ready (requires optional tuner and subscription), and DAB+ Ready (requires MS-DAB100A module). It plays MP3, M4A, and FLAC files. The PartyBus™ function allows audio synchronization across multiple Apollo systems on the network or broadcasting different sources per zone. Designed to the True-Marine™ standard, the unit withstands harsh marine environments with IPX7 and IPX6 protection against spray, extreme temperatures, vibrations, and UV. Software updates can be performed wirelessly (OTA) via the Fusion-Link app or USB.
Installation and Control
The unit offers multi-zone control with three independent audio zones, each featuring localized menu controls. Control is possible directly from the unit, via compatible marine multifunction displays (MFD), Apple or Android devices with the Fusion-Link app, or a Garmin connected watch. Its dimensions are approximately 15.7 cm width (front panel), 6.8 cm height (front panel), and 10.8 cm mounting depth, with a cutout of 13.5 cm width and 5.2 cm height. Power input requires 10.8 to 16 Vdc and is protected by a 15 A fuse.
