The Blue Sea Systems P12 Gen2 7532 battery charger is a power conversion solution designed for marine environments. It delivers a total current of 40A with a nominal voltage of 12V DC, and features three positive outputs and one negative output to charge up to three battery banks. Its design includes a universal AC input of 90V-265V AC and a frequency of 45-65 Hz, ensuring worldwide compatibility.
Advanced Charging Technology and Protection
This charger uses an advanced four-stage charging process, including a PreFloat™ step to prevent overcharging. It is compatible with AGM, Flooded Lead Acid, Gel, and TPPL batteries. Battery temperature compensation adjusts the charging voltage to optimize battery life. Comprehensive protections are integrated: AC overvoltage or undervoltage shutdown with automatic restart, protection against extreme battery temperatures, DC overvoltage and reverse polarity protection, as well as overvoltage and short-circuit protection.
Robust Design and Intuitive Features
The Blue Sea Systems P12 Gen2 7532 is housed in a robust die-cast aluminum enclosure with fins, designed for dry installation in demanding environments while promoting heat dissipation. It complies with UL-1236 Marine, CSA 22.2 No. 107.2, and ABYC A-31 standards, and features ignition protection per ISO 8846 and SAE J1171. Its protection rating is IP32. The device integrates intuitive diagnostic displays with multilingual display (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish) and allows customizable charging profiles. The Charge Coordination™ function optimizes charging by integrating Blue Sea Systems automatic charge relays (ACR).
