Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for demanding marine environments, the Clarion XC2410 amplifier is a 4-channel Class D audio solution. It delivers a maximum power of 400 Watts and a continuous RMS power of 300 Watts, ensuring clear and dynamic sound reproduction on board.
Audio performance and versatility
The Clarion XC2410 features Class D amplification, optimizing energy efficiency while providing consistent power output. It offers an RMS output power of 50 Watts x 4 at 4 Ohms, 75 Watts x 4 at 2 Ohms, and can be configured in bridged mode to deliver 150 Watts x 2 at 4 Ohms (stable at 4 Ohms in bridged mode). The frequency response ranges from 15 Hz to 30 kHz. Its signal-to-noise ratio is 70 dB, with a total harmonic distortion (THD) of 1%. An electronic high-pass filter ranging from 15 to 250 Hz with a 12 dB/octave slope is integrated, allowing easy configuration of speaker and subwoofer systems.
Robust marine design and integration
The Clarion XC2410 is designed for marine environments. It features a double-sided printed circuit board with conformal coating to resist corrosion and moisture. Aluminum heat sinks contribute to efficient thermal management. RCA, power, and speaker connections are nickel-plated for increased corrosion resistance. Its compact chassis is UV-resistant and sealed, with an IP-rated design, ensuring reliability in harsh marine conditions. Its micro-compact format allows flexible installation in tight spaces, such as behind dashboards or under seats. The MOS-FET power supply system contributes to stable power output and low distortion, while the soft mute circuitry at power-on/off prevents unwanted noise. RCA and high-level inputs allow compatibility with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and aftermarket head units.
