Navionics+ Bay of Biscay Chart (microSD/SD)

The FURUNO Bay of Biscay (microSD/SD) nautical chart is a digital mapping solution designed for navigation in the Bay of Biscay region. Provided on a microSD/SD card, it is compatible with Furuno chartplotters and multifunction displays (MFD), including models GP-1871F/1971F v4 and NavNet TZtouch2 systems (TZT2L, TZT2BB, TZT2LF).

Detailed Cartography and Updates

This chart includes detailed cartography for cruising, sailing, and fishing, featuring port plans, safety contour lines, maritime services, and navigation aids. It provides precise depth contours, with options such as SonarChart™ HD Bathymetry offering contours down to 0.5 meters for detailed representation of the seabed structure. Dynamic navigation aids supply information on names, colors, frequencies, and light ranges. The database includes detailed port plans with marina facilities, schedules, and coordinates.

Advanced Features and System Compatibility

The chart supports up to 5,000 daily updates, covering coastline lines, bathymetry, Notices to Mariners, and changes to navigation aids and marinas. Depending on the chart type (Navionics+ or C-MAP WIDE) and compatible MFD, it can support advanced functions such as Dock-to-Dock guidance for safe and efficient routing, SonarChart™ Live mapping for real-time HD bathymetric chart creation, and Community Edits integration. Additional features include SonarChart™ satellite imagery overlays with shading, 3D views, and aerial photography. The Guardian Alarm function alerts users to potential hazards such as rocks and shallow waters, and Plotter Sync enables wireless data transfer with the Navionics Boating app.
