HUB102 Ethernet Hub 5 Ports Waterproof 12-24VDC

The FURUNO HUB102 is a marine-rated 5-port Ethernet hub designed for nautical environments. It enables data sharing between multiple multifunction displays (MFD) and sensors within an onboard network.

Connectivity and performance

This hub features 5 Ethernet ports with twist-lock watertight connectors, ensuring secure connections. It supports Gigabit transfer speeds in full-duplex mode, as well as 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps in half- and full-duplex modes. This capability allows smooth data transmission for modern systems such as Furuno’s NavNet TZtouch series.

Robust marine-grade design

The HUB102 has a marine-specific design with IP56 protection per IEC 60529 standard, ensuring resistance to dust and water. Sealed covers protect unused ports. The device operates on 12-24 VDC power, drawing 0.2-0.1 A, and includes an internal self-resetting fuse. It is designed for bulkhead or deck mounting and can operate in an ambient temperature range of -15 to 55 °C with relative humidity of 93% or less.

Integration and scalability

Compatible with most Ethernet devices, the HUB102 is optimized for Furuno NavNet systems. It operates in "plug-and-play" mode, with instant device detection, simplifying installation. For extended network configurations, up to six HUB102 units can be connected. Built-in LED indicators provide a quick overview of power and each port’s status, aiding diagnostics.
