Designed as a central processing unit, the FURUNO NavNet TZTXL Black Box processor unit provides a versatile and scalable navigation platform. Featuring a Hexacore processor and Time Zero technology, it delivers responsive performance for managing navigation data and displaying TZMAP and MM3D cartography. This processor unit is compatible with a variety of multi-touch displays, including Furuno models in 17, 19, or 24-inch sizes, as well as all-glass displays in 16, 22, and 24-inch sizes, or Hybrid Control displays in 10 and 13-inch sizes.
Advanced features and connectivity
The TZTXL Black Box integrates features such as AI Routing, AI Avoidance Route, and HD BathyVision, enhancing route planning and bathymetric analysis. Its integrated WiFi enables real-time weather data access, chart updates, and synchronization via TZ Cloud with the TZ First Mate and TZiBoat mobile applications. The unit is equipped with a 72-channel GPS/WAAS receiver with 1 SBAS channel, capable of storing 30,000 user waypoints and 100,000 track points.
Marine integration and performance
This processor unit is designed for extended system integration. It is compatible with Furuno NXT solid-state Doppler radars (DRS6A-NXT/DRS12A-NXT/DRS25A-NXT), X-Class magnetron radars, and DRS4D-NXT and DRS2D-NXT Doppler radomes. Radar features include target analysis, rapid target tracking, bird mode, rain mode, Risk Visualizer, and AI Avoidance Route. For fish detection, it integrates with TruEcho CHIRP™ network sounders (2kW/3kW/5kW/10kW) such as the DFF3-UHD, the DFF-3D multifrequency sonar, and the 360° scanning sonar CSH10. The system supports a 1920x1080 display resolution and has an IP55 protection rating. Its dimensions are 310 x 210 x 66 mm and it weighs 1.3 kg.
The TZTXL Black Box supports multiple languages and is compatible with third-party interfaces via NavNet COMMAND CENTER, including Victron Energy, Seakeeper, and Lumishore lighting, with CZONE compatibility and support for up to 8 AXIS IP video cameras.
