The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 marine amplifier is designed to expand audio zones on a boat. It adds power and clarity to your marine audio system, especially when paired with compatible Fusion DSP marine audio equipment.

The nominal output power of the Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 amplifier, measured at 14.4 V DC input and less than 1 % THD+N (EIA/CEA-490A), is:

The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 amplifier has an IEC 60529 IPX7 waterproof rating. This means it is protected against temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 amplifier weighs 460 grams (about 1 pound).

The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 amplifier operates on a DC voltage range of 10.8 to 32 V.

The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 amplifier delivers a frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, covering most of the audible spectrum.

The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 amplifier is a Class D amplifier. Class D amplifiers are known for their energy efficiency and compact size, making them ideal for marine applications.

For installing the amplifier, you will need the following tools:

Drill
2.7 mm (7/64 in) bit, or sized to match your mounting hardware and surface material
Phillips screwdriver #2
Wire cutters
Wire strippers
Soldering iron and heat-shrink tubing
Wires and cables:
16 AWG (1.31 mm²) tinned copper power wire
18 AWG (0.82 mm²) tinned copper speaker wire (thicker gauge may be required for long runs)
20 AWG (0.52 mm²) wire for REMOTE ON signal
2-core RCA cable
Cable ties (optional)

To mount the amplifier to its mounting bracket:

Hold the unit above and slightly above the mounting bracket.Place the unit onto the bracket and pull it down until the tab clicks audibly.Make sure the mounting bracket is already securely fastened to the surface.

To configure the amplifier after physical installation, you must use the Fusion-Link™ app to set up the DSP profile. Here are the steps:

Download the Fusion-Link app and connect it to your stereo following your stereo’s owner’s manual instructions.
In the Fusion-Link app, select the appropriate amplifier, speakers, and/or subwoofer(s) for each zone.
Follow the Fusion-Link app instructions to select a profile configured for the connected amplifier, speakers, and/or subwoofer(s).
Send the DSP profile to the connected stereo and test the sound.
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the audio system is satisfactory.

The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 amplifier is compatible only with Fusion marine audio equipment featuring DSP technology. It must not be used with third-party marine audio systems.

It is strongly advised against using this amplifier with third-party marine speakers. The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 amplifier is designed specifically for Fusion DSP-compatible audio equipment and may damage third-party speakers due to its output power.

For the RCA input connection, you will need a 2-way RCA cable. This cable must connect the zone output of your stereo to the amplifier. The RCA cable is not included with the amplifier.

The Fusion Apollo™ AP-DA214 marine amplifier is covered by a 3-year limited warranty for marine consumers, starting from the date of purchase.

The limited warranty will not apply if any of the following conditions are found:

Abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, unauthorized modifications. Unauthorized connections or repairs, including the use of non-authorized spare parts. Misuse, negligence, abuse, accident, alteration, incorrect installation, natural disasters. Spillage of food or liquids, incorrect adjustment of customer controls. Deficiencies in consumable parts (such as fuses), breakage or damage to antennas (unless directly caused by material or manufacturing defects). Normal wear and tear of the product. The product’s serial number or accessory date code has been removed, degraded, or altered. The product has been used with or connected to an accessory not supplied by Fusion or incompatible with Fusion products, or used in a manner other than its intended use.
