Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for deep-sea fishing, the internal Garmin AIRMAR® M265LH transducer is a 1 kW CHIRP fishfinder offering detailed seabed discrimination. Compatible with Garmin chartplotters and fishfinder modules equipped with a 12-pin CHIRP connector, it is ideal for vessels that do not require hull drilling.
Dual-Band CHIRP Technology for Optimized Performance
The Garmin AIRMAR® M265LH transducer features dual-band CHIRP technology with distinct frequencies for various applications. The low-frequency band (42-65 kHz) provides a 16° to 25° beam width and can reach depths up to 914 meters (3,000 feet). The high-frequency band (130-210 kHz) with a 6° to 10° beam width is suited for depths up to 304 meters (1,000 feet), ensuring precise target separation and seabed discrimination.
Robust Installation and Design
The internal installation of the Garmin AIRMAR® M265LH transducer requires no hull drilling, making it suitable for solid fiberglass hulls and towed or lifted boats. It fits hulls with a deadrise angle from 0° to 30°. Its plastic/urethane housing and acoustic window ensure durability in marine environments. The transducer weighs 5.2 kg (11.5 lbs) and comes with a 12-meter (39-foot) cable. It is recommended for boats up to 11 meters (36 feet) and provides depth data only.
