The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD VEU001R English Channel marine chart is a premium electronic charting solution for compatible Garmin chartplotters. Available in microSD/SD format, it provides detailed coverage of UK and European waters, including key areas such as the British coast from Felixstowe to the Isles of Scilly, the Thames (from Twickenham to the North Sea), Dover, the Solent, and the Isle of Wight. Coverage also extends to the French coast from Dunkirk to L'Aber Wrac'h, including Rouen and the Channel Islands.
Data Integration and Accuracy
This Vision HD chart integrates Garmin and Navionics content, delivering high clarity and detail. It includes Auto Guidance technology, which automatically calculates a suggested route based on user-defined depth and overhead clearance constraints, simplifying navigation and obstacle avoidance. The Depth Range Shading feature displays up to 10 depth ranges with high resolution, while Shallow Water Shading highlights risk areas according to a customizable threshold.
Advanced Navigation and Fishing Features
Bathymetric contours are represented with one-foot (approximately 30 cm) accuracy, enabling detailed visualization of seafloor structure—essential for fishing and navigating complex areas.
