About Garmin VHF 110/110i radios
The Garmin VHF 110 and VHF 110i marine radios, for which this bezel is designed, provide essential communication capabilities at sea. They allow contact with the shore and other vessels with a 25-watt transmission power and cover all USA, Canadian, and international marine frequencies, as well as 10 NOAA weather channels. These units are NMEA 2000® and NMEA 0183 compatible, facilitating integration with Garmin navigation systems, including GPSMAP® chartplotters.
Equipped with Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC), the VHF 110/110i radios enable distress calls and direct calls with a user-programmed MMSI number, contributing to safety at sea. They feature IPX7 water resistance, capable of withstanding immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, and operate within a temperature range of -15°C to 70°C. The Garmin VHF 110 and VHF 110i models do not support an integrated bidirectional hailer system for onboard communication.
