Designed for versatile marine lighting, the Lumishore LUX Flood Light 4" (distributed by Garmin) is a CRGBW (cool white, red, green, blue, warm white) flood light delivering 1050 lumens. It provides a full spectrum of colors for deck, cockpit, or general safety lighting. Unlike standard marine lights, this model generates an extended light spectrum, including warm and cool whites, rather than monochrome or bicolor options. Its ultra-wide oval beam of 70 to 90 degrees, optimized with custom diffusion optics, ensures complete coverage and color uniformity across the illuminated area.
Design and technical performance
The LUX Flood Light 4" operates on 10.5 to 31 VDC, with a maximum current draw of 1.7 A at 12 V and an average power consumption of 22 W. Its robust construction features marine-grade powder-coated aluminum and a frosted lens, achieving IP68 certification for dust and prolonged immersion resistance—essential in marine environments. Durability is backed by a 3-year warranty. Available in white or black finishes, it blends discreetly with various boat configurations, whether on T-tops, arches, or transoms.
System integration and control
The LUX Flood Light 4" excels in integration. It can be controlled via a compatible Garmin multifunction display (MFD), a dedicated Lumishore screen, a smart device, or a momentary switch. Part of Lumishore’s LUX lighting collection, this flood light enables precise CRGBW control, intensity and white balance adjustments, preset scenes, and dynamic effects such as strobe, sweep, color cycling, or sound synchronization.
