Designed for navigation in the complex waters of the Mediterranean, Garmin marine charts for the Mediterranean Sea, central and western (SKU: 010-C1238-20) provide geographical coverage from L'Estartit in Spain to Crotone in Italy, including Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Malta, as well as the main lakes in northern Italy such as Lake Geneva, Lake Maggiore, Lake Lugano, Lake Iseo, Lake Como and Lake Garda. Available as preloaded microSD/SD card or digital download, they are compatible with Garmin chartplotters.
Detailed navigation and advanced features
These charts integrate Garmin and Navionics data for clear and precise details, including detailed bathymetric contours down to 30 cm (1 foot) in supported areas. Depth shading displays up to 10 colored depth ranges to quickly identify target depths, while shallow shading highlights hazardous areas with user-configurable depth settings. The Auto Guidance+™ technology calculates a suggested route from dock to dock, taking into account the desired depth and the boat’s air draft, requiring on-screen review.
Updates and ActiveCaptain community
A one-year subscription is included, providing daily chart updates via the ActiveCaptain app. The ActiveCaptain community provides access to useful points of interest such as marinas, anchorages, hazard zones, and businesses, with recommendations from other boaters. The seabed sedimentation palette helps identify bottom type, useful for anchoring and fishing. For enhanced situational awareness, the Garmin Navionics Vision+ version offers additional features such as high-resolution terrain shading, satellite imagery and aerial photos, as well as FishEye and MarinerEye 3D views. The dynamic lake level feature adjusts charts to current lake water levels to verify accessibility of areas.
