Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for demanding navigators, the Garmin Navionics+ marine charts cover a vast region including Scandinavia (from Kristiansund in Norway to the islands of Gotland and Bornholm), the Szczecin Lagoon, the Kiel Canal, and the entire coast of Denmark. This mapping solution integrates Garmin and Navionics content for comprehensive coastal and inland coverage on compatible Garmin chartplotters.
Detailed navigation and advanced features
The Garmin Navionics+ charts display vivid colors and a simplified interface with an optimized Navionics® color palette. They include a one-year subscription for daily chart updates, accessible via the ActiveCaptain® app, ensuring the most up-to-date information is available. The Auto Guidance+™ technology combines Garmin and Navionics’ automatic routing capabilities to suggest a dock-to-dock route through channels, entrances, and marinas.
For better understanding of seabed structure, these charts offer depth shading with up to 10 color options to highlight target depths. Contours down to 1 foot are available for precise seabed representation, useful for fishing and navigation. Shallow-water shading allows setting a custom depth for clear visualization of areas to avoid.
Premium options with Garmin Navionics Vision+
The Garmin Navionics Vision+ version extends Navionics+ features with additional graphical and visual content. It includes high-resolution terrain shading that combines colors and shadows for a clearer view of seabed structure. Downloadable high-resolution satellite imagery improves situational awareness, particularly in unknown areas. Aerial photos of ports, marinas, bridges, and navigation landmarks are also available.
The 3D FishEye and MarinerEye views provide underwater and aerial three-dimensional perspectives. The dynamic lake level feature adjusts charts to current water levels, and sonar imagery reveals seabed hardness with vivid colors. An active subscription is required after the first year to maintain access to daily updates and Vision+ premium features.
