Designed for marine environments and all-terrain applications, the JL Audio M3-650VeX-Mb-S-Gm marine tower speakers deliver high-quality audio reproduction. These 6.5-inch two-way coaxial speakers are built to withstand demanding conditions while producing powerful, clear sound.
Design and Audio Performance
Each M3-650VeX-Mb-S-Gm speaker features a 6.5-inch woofer with injection-molded polypropylene cone filled with mica and synthetic rubber surrounds. The 0.75-inch (19 mm) silk dome tweeter is mounted directly on the grille for optimal sound dispersion. The system offers a nominal impedance of 4 ohms and a frequency response of 100 Hz to 25,000 Hz (± 3 dB), with a sensitivity of 89.5 dB at 1W/1m. Continuous RMS power handling is 60 watts per channel, with a recommended amplifier power of 20 to 120 watts per channel. The woofers are optimized by JL Audio’s DMA (Dynamic Motor Analysis) technology to reduce distortion and improve transient performance and bass quality.
Marine Durability and Integration
These speakers are specifically engineered for boats, personal watercraft, and all-terrain applications. Their construction resists UV and corrosion, with polymer baskets and grilles, marine-grade stainless steel, and synthetic fibers. Neodymium magnets contribute to powerful sound. Each speaker includes a two-way crossover integrated into the woofer basket. The system is designed for installation via a rotating clamp receiver, requiring JL Audio mounting hardware sold separately. Marine-grade 16-gauge speaker cables (approximately 3 meters) are included with each speaker. The M3-650VEX models feature an RGB LED lighting system integrated into the sport grille frame, for which an optional RGB controller is recommended to fully manage colors.
