Detailed description
Detailed description
The Lowrance HDS-10 PRO is a high-performance GPS fishfinder designed to be the central hub of modern fishing systems. Sold without a transducer, this model offers maximum flexibility to anglers who wish to customize their installation with specific transducers or integrate the unit into an existing system.
Display and interface
The HDS-10 PRO features a 10-inch multitouch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. With a brightness exceeding 1200 nits and wide viewing angles of 80° in all directions, it ensures perfect readability even in bright sunlight. The interface is complemented by programmable quick-access buttons for full control in all conditions.
Advanced fishfinder capabilities
At the heart of the Lowrance range, the HDS PRO stands out for its fishfinder capabilities. It has two independent 9-pin transducer ports capable of handling up to 1 kW of power. It supports a wide range of technologies: Low, Medium, and High CHIRP frequencies, as well as DownScan imaging (455/800 kHz, CHIRP 700/1200 kHz) and SideScan technologies (455/800 kHz, CHIRP 455/1075 kHz). This dual capability allows simultaneous combination of different views, such as a traditional CHIRP sonar for detection and a high-resolution sonar like ActiveTarget (sold separately) for real-time vision.
Connectivity and system integration
The strength of the HDS-10 PRO lies in its network integration. It features two Ethernet ports for connecting radars, additional fishfinder modules, or other HDS displays. An NMEA 2000® port ensures communication with engines, autopilots, and onboard sensors, while an NMEA 0183® port remains available for older equipment. Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® 5.2 allow connection to the Lowrance app, phones for notifications, and accessories such as Power-Pole® electric anchors. With two microSD card readers, managing mapping data and recordings is simplified.
