Detailed description

Designed for aesthetic and functional enhancement, the JL Audio M-LCB-C-W LED capsules are marine audio accessories for enclosed speaker systems. They are specifically compatible with JL Audio ETXv3 enclosed speaker systems for 8.8" towers, including Classic and Sport grille versions.

Design and Materials

Each capsule is machined from aluminum, ensuring construction suitable for marine environments. They feature a downward-facing white LED strip that shines light beneath the speakers. During installation, each capsule adds 0.741" (1.88 cm) of thickness to the rear of the speaker enclosure.

Installation and Integration

Installation of the LED capsules is simplified, requiring only a single hole to be drilled at the rear of the speaker. They can be mounted on an existing rear logo cap, facilitating integration into existing installations. The product ships with 12" (30.48 cm) of power/ground cables, two 150 mA AGC fuses, and four crimp connectors (gauges 18 and 16). The LED assembly is designed to resist moisture, UV exposure, and vibration. Note that the independent functionality of the LED capsules is not compatible with M3 or M6 ETXv3 systems already equipped with RGB LED lighting. The product is sold as a pair and comes with a 2-year warranty.
