Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for advanced underwater visualization, the NAVICO StructureScan 3D transducer (part number 000-16363-001) provides a three-dimensional perspective of the seafloor and submerged structures. It uses multi-beam sonar technology to generate detailed 3D images, complementing traditional SideScan and DownScan Imaging views.
Detailed underwater imaging
This transducer operates on two frequencies: 455 kHz for greater depth and 800 kHz for superior definition. It offers a SideScan lateral range of up to 180 meters (600 feet) on each side of the boat, and a maximum depth of 92 meters (300 feet) in DownScan. The StructureScan 3D technology provides a maximum depth of 60 meters (200 feet) for 3D imaging. It ensures target separation of 38.1 mm (1.5 inches).
Design and integration
The StructureScan 3D transducer comes with a metal bracket for secure mounting. It is designed for "plug-and-play" connection to a StructureScan 3D module (sold separately) and is compatible with Simrad, Lowrance, or B&G multifunction displays. The transducer cable is 6 meters (20 feet) long, and communication is via Ethernet. Power requirements are 12 V DC, with an input voltage range of 10 V to 17 V. The transmit power is 500W RMS (4000W peak). A temperature sensor is integrated. The unit is designed for marine use, with an IPx7 waterproof rating for the associated StructureScan HD module, and durable construction for the transducer.
Advanced features
Key features of the NAVICO StructureScan 3D transducer include Leading Edge™ scanning for clear scan reference, SelectScan™ target identification, vertical enhancement control, waypoint overlay, and automatic 3D image adjustments. Users can control the 3D view in pan, tilt, and rotate, with predefined viewpoints for quick analysis. The display is customizable to highlight suspended fish targets or seafloor contours.
