The 4° wedge Scanstrut SW-PM-W4-7 is designed to optimize radar system performance by ensuring a stable horizon for the antenna. This accessory compensates for the boat's trim, particularly when the boat is at speed and the bow rises, ensuring precise and consistent radar detection.

Design and Materials

Made from a robust marine-grade polymer that is UV-stable, this wedge is built to withstand demanding marine environments. Its base measures 7" x 7", ensuring compatibility with Scanstrut PowerTower mounts of the same size. It is compatible with radomes from most radar manufacturers, including Furuno.

Installation and Features

Installing the Scanstrut SW-PM-W4-7 wedge is straightforward thanks to pre-drilled mounting holes and a pre-fitted sealing gasket, ensuring easy attachment and water protection. Its design allows it to be installed beneath the base of a PowerTower mount. For greater trim corrections, Scanstrut offers wedges with different angles (2° or 6°) to suit various boat configurations.
