Designed for integrating your Furuno TZT9F display, the Scanstrut POD SW-SP3P is a deck-mount solution offering a maximum usable surface of 349x229mm. This pod is supplied with an uncut front, allowing precise adaptation to your electronic equipment, including 9-inch displays.
Design and Materials
The Scanstrut POD SW-SP3P is made from ABS plastic capped with acrylic, ensuring robustness, corrosion resistance, and UV stability. The pod’s seal is made from high-tear-strength silicone, providing protection against heat and UV rays. This design ensures protection of the electronics from the marine environment, also thanks to a watertight cable routing system.
Installation and Flexibility
Installation of the Scanstrut POD SW-SP3P is done from the rear to the front, with fasteners that cut threads into ABS molded-in inserts. This method enables quick and secure installation, while also facilitating maintenance. An internal reinforcement plate is integrated to increase rigidity and minimize damage from shocks and vibrations. The quick-release swivel and tilt base allows adjustment of the display to an optimal viewing angle, with a ball-joint articulation offering 360-degree adjustment.
