Detailed description
The Simrad NSX 3007 M/H HDI is a chartplotter and fishfinder designed for marine navigation. It features a 7-inch SolarMAX™ IPS HD touchscreen with 1024x600-pixel resolution and 1200-nit brightness, ensuring visibility at various angles and in bright sunlight, even through polarized lenses. This model ships with an HDI transducer (transom mount) and offers CHIRP M/H and DownScan sonar capabilities across 83/200/455/800 kHz frequencies, with a built-in 1 kW power output.
Advanced Navigation and Fishfinding
Equipped with a 10 Hz internal GPS receiver compatible with WASS, MSAS, and EGNOS, the NSX 3007 delivers 3-meter horizontal accuracy. It supports C-MAP® DISCOVER™ X and REVEAL™ X cartography (chart not included for ROW version; required for navigation) and can manage up to 6,000 waypoints, 500 routes, and 50 tracks. The built-in fishfinder supports CHIRP Low, Medium, and High up to 1 kW and is compatible with Active Imaging™ technology (requires compatible transducers) for detailed SideScan and DownScan Imaging™ views. The FishReveal™ feature overlays fish arches on DownScan images for quick identification.
Connectivity and Full Integration
The Simrad NSX 3007 includes a single Ethernet port, an NMEA 2000® Micro-C (1 LEN) port, Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), and Bluetooth 4.0. It also supports IP cameras and has a USB port for external storage. This connectivity enables integration with Simrad Halo radars, Simrad autopilot systems, and third-party equipment such as Mercury® engines (via SmartCraft® Connect), OmniSense cameras, Dometic climate systems, and Lumishore LED lighting. The unit is protected against reverse polarity and over/under-voltage. Its maximum power consumption is 29.7 W (2.15 A at 13.8 V DC) and operates within a temperature range of -15°C to 55°C. It has an IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof rating and withstands 100,000 cycles of 20 G shocks and vibrations.
