Detailed description
The BEP 772-DBC-EZ battery switch controls two separate battery banks with an emergency parallel position. This EZ-Mount version is designed for surface mounting: the base is fixed first, wiring is done from the front, then the actuator clips on.
Dual-bank control
The switch offers OFF, Bank 1, Banks 1 and 2 isolated, and emergency parallel positions. The isolated position keeps services powered while isolating the engine circuit. Both banks must use the same system voltage, between 12 and 48 V DC.
Documented specifications
- Continuous current: 400 A; intermittent: 600 A for 5 minutes; starting: 1,500 A for 10 seconds (values obtained with a 120 mm² cable per BEP specifications).
- M10 (3/8 inch) connection terminals, IP67 rating, ignition protection, CE marking, and tested per UL1107.
- Surface mounting only for this EZ-Mount version; rear cover and three side panels included.
The supplied BEP manual details wiring, installation, and terminal torque. This switch is for isolation and must not be operated under load.
