Specifically designed for open-cockpit and flybridge applications, the BLUE SEA WeatherDeck 4-position waterproof fuse panel (PN 4304) provides robust protection for 12V DC circuits in demanding marine environments. This model features an IP67-rated front panel, ensuring protection against immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, provided it is correctly installed with its supplied sealing gasket.
Features and technical specifications
The WeatherDeck 4-position panel integrates ATO®/ATC® 15A fuse circuit protection per position, with a total panel capacity of 60A. Each circuit includes bicolor LEDs that illuminate the labels, providing quick status indication: red for off, green for on, and no color for a blown fuse. This visual signaling enables rapid and precise fault diagnosis. Compared to the 2-position model (PN 4302) with a total capacity of 30A, or the 6-position (PN 4306) and 8-position (PN 4308) versions offering 90A and 100A respectively, the PN 4304 is suited for medium-sized installations requiring reliable management of four main circuits.
Design and system integration
The panel features a reinforced polycarbonate construction and an UV-stabilized, weather-resistant faceplate that clips on and off to access components and conceal mounting screws. Integrated switch guards reduce the risk of accidental activation. Label lighting is independent and compatible with Blue Sea Systems digital dimmers, allowing remote switching and dimming. A specific feature, the NAV diode, enables powering a 360° anchor light simultaneously with bow navigation lights via dedicated wiring, while retaining the ability to power the anchor light alone. The panel can be mounted in four different orientations for installation flexibility.
