The SCANSTRUT Aura 10W (reference SC-CW-12F) is a waterproof wireless charger designed for discreet and robust integration in a marine environment. It operates within an input voltage range of 10 to 30V DC, with a maximum input current of 2A. Standby power consumption is minimal, below 0.2W, optimizing energy efficiency onboard. The SCANSTRUT Aura 10W holds an IPX6 certification for its front and rear faces, ensuring full protection against water splashes and spray—a critical feature for any installation in a marine environment. It also complies with international standards CE, UKCA, FCC, ROHS, C-Tick, IC, and PSE, attesting to its quality and safety.

The design of the Aura 10W charger is optimized for flush-mount installation, offering a clean, flush-finished appearance. The external dimensions of the product are 110.0mm in width by 121.0mm in height, with a 15mm (0.59”) depth required behind the mounting surface for the unit. The cutting template specifies dimensions of 72.0mm by 95.0mm for the main opening, complemented by four screw holes for mounting. For devices, the charger is compatible with thicknesses from 7 to 17mm. An important design feature is that water can pass through the charger ("water passes through charger"). It is therefore essential to ensure that any components located directly beneath the installation point are not sensitive to liquid damage. Connection to the 12/24V power supply requires a watertight link, with a fuse and cable diameter suitable for the input voltage and current.
